Big chats with some of the greatest minds in the sector.
This year as part of our FIA conference partnership with Fundraising Institute of Australia, we’ve created Big Chat: Conversations with Purpose as a way to get to know FIA speakers and other leaders in the sector through a more informal lens.
Big Chat aims to inspire new and existing members of the for-purpose community and see themselves as the future achievers and leaders of social change.
Katherine Raskob
Katherine is the chief executive officer of Fundraising Institute Australia (FIA), the largest representative body for the $10.5 billion charitable fundraising sector.

Katherine has overseen measures to improve ethical best practice of fundraising through the FIA Code, including compliance measures and a compulsory Code course for members.
A committed volunteer, Katherine currently sits on the board of Girl Guides Australia. Before taking on that role, she sat on the board of Synergy & Taikoz, Australia’s leading percussion ensembles, as well as Kim Carpenter’s Theatre of Image.
