A good example of this is our most recent tax appeal with Amnesty International Australia (AIA) which was delivered during the uncertainty of COVID-19.
The development of ‘The Truth’, tells the story of systemic abuse of Uyghur people in China through the lens of truth telling. The campaign sought to connect the status of how Uyghur people are treated, with the fundamental values of AIA donors, namely a strong sense of social justice, fighting against slavery, abuse and violation.
Working with the AIA team, we helped source real case studies and imagery for this campaign that successfully drew attention to the plight of Uyghur people and encourage donors to stand against the injustice of Uyghur persecution.

With Bush Heritage Australia’s Autumn Appeal 2020, we made a strategic shift from the standard ‘fundraising as usual’ to creating a beautiful donor care appeal that identified where the audience was at, their concerns and also outlined the challenges that BHA faced after a summer of devastating bushfires.
With no direct asks or dollar handles in the pack, the appeal we helped create raised 266% of target and generated a 12% increase in gross income year on year.
