Free Webinar: Your value proposition and corporate partnerships

How to escape the “too hard” basket – the magic of a winning value proposition in securing corporate partnerships

Date: Thursday 2nd May 2024
Time: 12pm to 1pm
Format: 1 hour virtual meeting (Zoom)
Presented by: Dan Geaves FFIA at Marlin Communications

Discover how to lead the strategic development of your charity’s narrative, so that it enables great fundraising.

A value proposition tells prospective supporters why they should support you rather than anyone else, and it makes the benefits of your fundraising offer obvious from the outset. In this short course you will learn what makes a good value proposition and discover methodologies for developing one for your organisation.

By the end of the session, you will learn:

  • What makes a good value proposition
  • How they are applied to corporate partnership approaches
  • A tried and tested framework for identifying your organisation’s value PR

As of right now, are you confident that a prospective corporate partner can quickly and easily understand what your charity does and the value it can offer them in a partnership? Or do you wonder if perhaps your messaging is technical, verbose, inconsistent or, well, not that inspiring?

Many charities struggle because prospective corporate partners are not familiar with their work.

Without a clear fundraising value proposition that helps create a strong awareness, fundraising and philanthropy teams can find their case for support falls flat. And the more cognitively loaded your messaging is, the harder it will be to find audiences prepared to engage with it.

Fortunately, there is a solution! In this session, Dan Geaves will share the research evidence and perspective that reveals the usefulness of developing an easy-to-follow value proposition.

We want the session to empower fundraisers to get this done.
