Children in Crisis Regular Giving campaign
Marlin partnered with World Vision New Zealand to develop a new positioning for their Children in Crisis (CIC) regular giving program. Unlike traditional child sponsorship, CIC allows supporters to give monthly to respond to urgent, crisis-driven needs such as natural disasters, disease outbreaks, and conflicts that threaten children and their communities.
The goal was simple: inspire new supporters to take action and build a long-term, low-maintenance relationship through recurring donations. By prototyping creative approaches across digital, print, and experiential channels, the project explored three emotionally-charged territories – hope, love, and action – to show how a supporter’s contribution directly improves children’s lives.
Designed for people who care deeply about children in crisis, this work emphasizes that every gift matters, helping World Vision respond quickly and effectively where needs are greatest. Marlin’s Creative team worked closely with WVNZ to ensure the prototypes were practical, compelling, and grounded in real-world impact, creating a platform for future growth of the CIC program.
