Marlin congratulates Nicole Jensen on new board appointment with RAEN

We’re proud to share that Marlin’s own Nicole Jensen MFIA, Digital Fundraising Strategist, has been appointed to the board of the Regional Autistic Engagement Network (RAEN).

RAEN is an entirely volunteer-run organisation, created and led by Autistic and ADHD people in Tasmania. Over the past two years, it has developed from a grassroots peer network in the North-West into a statewide organisation providing essential peer groups, training, and advocacy.

Following the mid-2024 closure of Autism Tasmania which left Autistic and ADHD Tasmanians without a peak body, RAEN has stepped forward to fill this vital gap. Its mission is to improve the experiences of Autistic and neurodivergent people across the state by building community and driving positive change.

As a proudly disability-led organisation, RAEN embraces the ethos of “nothing about us without us,” recognising that the most valuable insight into Autistic and ADHD experience comes from those who are neurodivergent themselves, or the families of neurodivergent people.

To Nicole, RAEN has been an invaluable support since her Autistic and ADHD diagnosis not long after moving to Tasmania and just months before Autism Tasmania closed, and she has been a strong supporter of RAEN since.

Nicole brings two decades of experience in digital fundraising to her role on the RAEN board, and is looking forward to working hard for Autistic and ADHD people in Tasmania. At Marlin, she partners with our charity partners to design and deliver data-led, digital fundraising campaigns, with a focus on building strong supporter relationships and translating complex digital tools into meaningful outcomes.

Marlin is excited to support RAEN in their mission and to see Nicole’s expertise help shape the future of this essential organisation. We warmly congratulate Nicole on this appointment and look forward to celebrating the impact RAEN will achieve for Autistic and ADHD Tasmanians.
