Marlin Communications hires digital fundraiser to meet client demands.

Marlin Communications (Marlin) has appointed a new digital fundraiser to join their for-purpose agency to deliver digital fundraising and marketing services to its charity partners.

Samara Gentle, formerly the National Digital Marketing Lead at St Vincent de Paul Society (Vinnies), is the newest staff member from ‘charity side’ to join Marlin.

“Since the merger with technology-led agency Leafcutter last year, we have seen an increased demand from our client partners for our combined strategic creative services with strategic digital implementation. With demands for digital acquisition campaigns and projects since COVID-19, it has led us to hire more digital experts such as Samara, to meet our client partners’ current needs.”  James Hornitzky, COO (Digital) of Marlin.

Samara is an experienced digital storyteller, having worked in digital marketing for the government and nonprofit sectors for almost ten years. She has a track record of developing and implementing national digital marketing strategies that increase online donations and improve digital communications with donors.

Karl Tischler, Founding Director and Idealist of Marlin said, “We are all very excited to have Samara join the team. She has a real passion for building online communities that enhance and support organisations that are much needed, especially in these times.”
